Reservations for Conference Hotels Opens Tuesday, June 1

SC10 hotel reservations for attendees will open at 12 noon Tuesday, June 1, 2010 (Eastern Time). If you are planning to attend SC10, reserve your room early for the best choice of hotels and rates.

After you have decided on your hotel preference, make your reservation using one of the three methods outlined below. Reservations (and changes to existing reservations) can be made until October 15, 2010.

Making Hotel Reservations

1. Online Reservation System: Use the online reservation system available through the SC10 website. This enables you to reserve up to 10 rooms at once and is the preferred method for making reservations.
2. Phone: Call the Housing Connection toll-free at 888-665-1371 (International: 801-505-5264), from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Friday (Mountain Standard Time). The Housing Connection will be happy to assist you with your reservations.
3. Hotel Room Request Form: Complete and mail the Hotel Room Request Form to the Housing Connection at the address below. You may also fax the form to: The Housing Connection – SC10 Housing, 801-355-0250. Only fully completed forms will be accepted. DO NOT send the form to the individual hotel as this will only delay the processing of your request.

Please note: Although your reservation will be confirmed by The Housing Connection, your hotel will not receive information about your existing reservation until November 2, 2010. Please contact the Housing Connection with any questions or changes prior to that date.

Deposits

A credit card is required to guarantee your hotel reservation.  Reservations will not be accepted without a room deposit of one night’s room rental plus tax for each room reserved. No checks, cash or money orders will be accepted. Housing forms received without a valid credit card will be returned without processing. Credit cards must be valid through November 2010 to be considered a proper guarantee.

Confirmation

Rooms will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.  A confirmation from the Housing Connection will be sent for each reservation, modification or cancellation. You will not receive a confirmation directly from the hotel. Please review your confirmation carefully for accuracy. If, after 10 days, you have not received a confirmation, please notify the Housing Connection via email at thc@housingregistration.com or send a fax to 801-355-0250.

Multiple Room Reservations

Blocks of rooms may be reserved using the website or the housing form. Names, arrival dates and departure dates must be specified for each room requested. A maximum of 10 rooms may be requested in a single request. Names must be submitted prior to Thursday, September 30, 2010.

Changes/Cancellations

Reservations can be modified or canceled without penalty before Thursday, September 30, 2010. After this date and up to 72 hours prior to arrival, any cancellation will be subject to a $125 penalty. Any cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival are subject to a one night room and tax penalty at your confirmed hotel. Do not contact the hotels directly until after November 2, 2010.

SC10 Convention Center Shuttle Bus Information

Shuttle Service will be provided between the listed hotels and the Ernest N. Moriale Convention Center, Halls H&I.

The following Hotels are within walking distance of the Convention Center and are not served by the SC10 Shuttle bus service.
