DESCRIPTION:ABSTRACT: HP’s HPC portfolio focuses on technologies and services to redefine the economies of scale and performance. During this session\, we’ll outline recent developments in HP scalable systems\, data center infrastructure and software to enable significant improvements in performance and performance/$\, density and energy efficiency. The talk will include discussion of new HP GPU-optimized ProLiant servers\, a supporting software ecosystem developed for GPU-enabled clusters\, and recent deployments featuring this technology at Tokyo Institute of Technology and the Keeneland Project at Georgia Institute of Technology. We’ll also describe recent deployments of HP Performance Optimized Datacenters (PODs)\, the container-based data centers that offer a rapidly deployable and inexpensive alternative for traditional data center expansion.
