DESCRIPTION:ABSTRACT: Many HPC sites measure their HPC performance by collecting ‘one–time’ application performance and throughput benchmark data. However\, once the HPC cluster is in production\, there’s more that can be done to maximize the value of the HPC cluster than just speed. In this presentation\, William Lu\, Director of Product Management for Platform Computing\, will share some key benchmark data that demonstrates the difference between using HPC management software to boost performance\, in comparison to user productivity. He will discuss the latest product features and functionalities from Platform Computing\, showing how cluster management\, workload management\, monitoring\, and web portals can be integrated together to make HPC much easier to use and manage\, while still providing customization flexibility for high-end users.
